Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is NettService?

    • What is NettService?

Founded in 2019, NettService is an innovative French-speaking Swiss company offering Cleaning Services, who cares as much about his customers as it does about his environment. To do so, it favours CradleToCradle® certified cleaning products.

    • What's so special about this company ?

One of the greatest issues of our time is the sustainability of our world, from both an environmental and societal perspective. Faced with the lack of commitment, NettServie gives a part of its revenues directly to humanitarian and environmental NGOs in the goal of a more sustainable world. In addition, it favours green products as much as possible, subject to strict standards, in order to protect the health of its customers as well as the environment.

    • What's the point if other organizations with more resources are already doing it?

Every innovation is born from a simple idea. With this small gesture, we offer you, as part of a collective effort towards a more sustainable world, an additional opportunity to take action. Indeed, although many organizations are donors, it is thanks to the effort of each individual, to the extent that she or he can, and through daily choices, that a collective effort is born, because without your help, such organizations would be useless. In this way, we hope to instil a sense of responsible action in everyone.

  • What is CradleToCradle® ?

    • What is CradleToCradle® ?

Cradle to Cradle® is a globally recognized measure of safer and more durable products manufactured for the circular economy.

The Cradle to Cradle® approach is opposed to the typical principle of linear economy. In the latter system, materials are extracted and then transformed into goods, to be consumed and finally disposed of. This is done without any concern for the impact on people and nature.
In contrast, the Cradle to Cradle® approach is based on a circular economy, with product design integrated into the biological or technical cycles. Materials progress in a closed cycle, so that they are suitable for safe and complete return to the biosphere or for good quality recovery and reuse.

    • What criteria must be met ?

To achieve certification, products are evaluated on their environmental and social performance in five key sustainability categories: health of materials, reuse of materials, renewable energy and carbon management, water management and social equity. A product is assigned a performance level (Basic, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) for each category.
The standard encourages continuous improvement over time by awarding certification on the basis of increasing levels of achievement and requiring re-certification every two years.

    • Which CradletoCrade® certified products does NettService use? ?

We only use cleaning products with a Gold performance level, as there are currently no Platinum level cleaning products on the market.
The criteria for these products are as follows:

      • The materials are 100% evaluated and all components are safe for people and the environment.
      • The products can largely be reintroduced into the biological or technical cycle (reusable products). The degree of reuse must be greater than 65.
      • Problem components are replaced.
      • The use of wood from endangered forests is prohibited.
      • 50% renewable energy and 50% CO2 emissions are offset.
      • The water flows used for production are characterized.
      • Social equity in the supply chain assessed, code of conduct in place, innovative social projects implemented.
      • Social conditions are monitored by an independent service.
